Career Day at Earle B. Wood MS is scheduled for May 11, 2016. Please consider participating as a speaker for this event. This is an excellent opportunity to share your work experiences with our students to motivate and encourage them to think about their career goals.  Saturday School

The George B. Thomas Learning Academy provides an excellent opportunity for your child to receive academic tutoring with certified teachers on Saturdays. They are open for registration each Saturday they are in session or parents can register students online at www.saturdayschool.org.  Inclement Weather

As we get into the winter months, inclement weather becomes more of a possibility. There are procedures in place to help direct parents/guardians when a weather emergency such as closure of schools, delayed opening, or early dismissal occurs. Information regarding these procedures, as well as public announcements and emergency weather contingency plans, is available in both English and Spanish.
