Title I: White Oak is a Title I school. This is the White Oak School Parent Compact. There is also the newsletter which provides an overview of Title I, resources to access on the Title I website, information about parents' rights to request information, and the family engagement plan, parent compact, and the district level parent engagement plan. It is available in English and Spanish.

Guide to Student Rights and Responsibilities: In order to ensure a safe, productive, and positive learning environment, Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) publishes two documents that help students, parents, and staff and understand school rules and regulations; the expectations for student conduct; and the possible consequences for violating the rules.

Grading and Reporting: The school year in broken down into four quarters. At the mid-point of each quarter, students will receive interims.  At the end of each quarter, students receive report cards.report card The report card for the final quarter is mailed home, but all other report cards are distributed to students in school.

School Improvement Plan: Every summer the staff at White Oak Middle School gets together and sets goals for the upcoming school year. In addition to setting goals, they also decide what supports and services are needed to meet the goals and what measures are in place to see if the goals are met. All this information is included in the School Improvement Plan
