BLACK-EYED SUSAN - The Black-Eyed Susan Reading Program is about to come to a close for this year, but it’s NOT TOO LATE to participate! All you have to do is read three books from the same color category and fill out the online form on the media center website by April 3. Some of you have done one or two books this year, so get that third one done and you will get an invitation to our party in the media center. There will be snacks, games, prizes, and you can vote for your favorite book!
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS – If you have lost your agenda book and would like to purchase a new one, they are available for $5 in the main office.
TILDEN GLOBAL DEFENDERS - Tilden Global Defenders will meet next week AFTER SCHOOL on Wednesday. Please work on your script assignment!
MEDIA CENTER PHOTO BOOTH - Be sure to stop by the media center during MAP or lunch TODAY to visit our St Patrick’s Day photo booth! It’s green, fun, and you’re going to look great dressed up with our props!
PENNIES FOR PATIENTS - Pennies for Patients has started – Your donation helps children fight cancer. Donations can be made to boxes in your Social Studies or ESOL classrooms. The class that donates the most money could win donuts or pizza. Look around for any change you are able to contribute – and let’s help kids who are fighting cancer.
SPRING DANCE – Tilden Family, the Student Ambassadors present the Spring Dance "Carnival Paradise" which will be TONIGHT from 7 to 8:30pm. Pre-sale tickets will be sold this week during lunch Wednesday - Friday for $3. During the night of the dance tickets will be $5. This dance will be for all grades. PTSA MEETING -Tuesday, April 10th at 7pm in the media center the PTSA will be holding a meeting for special guest speaker Denise DeRosa. She will be giving an amazing presentation on Cyber Sensibility.
PTSA FUNDRAISER - Wednesday, April 18th from 5:30-9pm the PSTA is hosting a FUNdraiser at the Silver Diner in Rockville, 20% of all proceeds will be donated back to Tilden MS.
FAMILY HERITAGE NIGHT - Family Heritage Night is Friday, April 20th from 7-9pm. Sign-up genius and flyers with more information will be going out soon.
YEARBOOKS - The yearbook class is busy putting together all your cherished memories into one colorful collection. Yearbooks are now for sale, so secure your copy before they run out. Yearbooks are $32, and if you order by April 20, a free name engraving will be included. To order, go to www.yearbookordercenter.com and enter the school code, “1 3 0 1 7.” Order yours today. In the past we have run out of copies, so don’t be the only student left at the end of the year without one!
