With so many sites available on the Internet it is hard to know where to start looking. The search tools below are all designed for students and will make it easier to find just what you are looking for...For a school project or just for fun! 

  • Ask for Kids - (formerly known as Ask Jeeves for Kids) is a fast, easy and kid-friendly way for kids to search online. No need to use Keywords or special search terms.
  • Kids Click! - A web search created for students by librarians. Search by Category, Alphabetical Listing or Key Word. Use the Advanced Search to limit results by reading level or number of pictures. This is a good place to start when looking for information for school projects.
  • CyberSleuth Kids - An online directory of websites for K-12 students created by a teacher and maintained by volunteers. All sites are reviewed and organized into logical categories. Some distracting advertisements.
  • Fact Monster - Research atlases, almanacs, encyclopedias, and dictionaries by typing in a topic or searching by subject. Also view their daily features about what is going on in the world today.
