Media Center

Media Program

Media Specialist: Laura Sutter

Media Assistant: Louise Rampersaud

The purpose of the media program is to ensure that all students are effective users of ideas and information. Students are taught to become independent in learning effective use of print and online resources. The media program collaborates with grade level teams to complete inquiry projects that take students from start to finish on research projects that are integrated with content areas. In addition, the media program promotes lifelong reading habits. Students come to the Media Center weekly for a book exchange but may, with teacher permission, return to the library at any time to check out a new book.
