Movements in History

Fifth graders researched various movements in history. They worked in collaborative groups to extensively research their given movement. They chose one event from their research and focused on the CONFLICT, COMPROMISE and CHANGE. You can view what they learned in their MovieMaker presentations. Check out some of their work below.

Flyer Distribution

Typically, fliers are distributed by elementary schools at or near the end of the quarter, three times a year. This year, for at least the first two quarters, we are asking schools to post approved virtual fliers on their school websites on the parent resources page. As a reminder, only fliers from non-profit organizations may be displayed and all fliers must contain the following disclaimer: "These materials are neither sponored by the Board of Education of Montgomery County, the superintendent or this school."
