Neelsville Middle School has four counselors and a secretary/registrar, Nelcys Menocal.

• There is one counselor to each grade. 
• That counselor follows the students through their three years at Neelsville. For the 8^th grade students, it is Erica Merrill , for 6^th grade it is Susan Morgan and for 7^th grade it is Mary Slotkowski.
• Parents may call the counselor for information on their child and/or to make appointments to meet with them or their child’s teachers.
• Groups are conducted for issues such as study skills, anger management, divorce/separation, and grief.
• Individual counseling is also available, as needed.
