Varsity loses 5 set thriller to River Hill, now 2-2!
What's New (9/16/14)
-Magruder Varsity lost a two hour, five set thriller to River Hill to fall to 2-2. It was match between two very different teams that ended up very even, but also had major momentum swings due to a large number of runs of points scored by each team. Visit the match analysis page for more details. The JV team lost to River Hill 2-0 and is now 3-1.

-All MCPS team records have been updated today (9/15/14). Visit the MCPS records page to see how the 25 MCPS schools have fared this year.
-The Varsity team defeated Einstein 3 sets to 0. Check out the match analysis page for details.
-The JV team won in two sets to defeat Einstein and are 3-0.
-Recent alumni seen at games include the Musser sisters, (Alison and Kimery). Kimery is working for a famous bakery in New York City and already looking for another adventure in California, while sister Alison is working in the DC area after graduation from college. Both are doing well!
-The Varsity team lost to Northwest 3 sets to 0. A match analysis has been posted along with photos (photo/video page) and a Gazette article (media page).
-The JV team defeated Northwest 2 sets to 1 to improve their record to 2-0!
-Sophomore setter Alena Villanueva is featured in the weekly Gazette Volleyball notebook. Visit the media page to read all about her!

-Congratulations to JV Head Coach Tori Kenno on her first high school victory as a head coach. WELCOME BACK!!!! She participated in plenty as a player, but this was a great night for her as her team played well and won. Plus she was able to play all of her players. Congrats to Tori on her first of what we hope are many wins at Magruder!
-Congratulations to both Jackie Krampf and Tori Kenno. After six great years, Jackie Krampf has resigned as the JV Head Coach to take the Varsity Head Coach position at Watkins Mill High School. Jackie was a great asset to the program and had a positive influence on the kids she coached. Magruder alumni (class of 2010) Tori Kenno has been hired as the new JV Head Coach. Tori played two years of varsity volleyball at Magruder and was a starter on the 2009 state finalist team. She played for two years at MC-Rockville and has coached with Champions of Tomorrow volleyball club for the past three years.
