Message from LBES PTA President Paulette Forrest:
Welcome to the LBES PTA web site! We hope you visit the site often to learn about school and PTA activities, resources, and volunteer opportunities.
I want to encourage every parent to join the PTA! Some people have said to me, “I don’t have time to join the PTA!” Joining the PTA does not require loads of your time…it doesn’t actually require more than the few minutes it takes to write out your check and fill in the membership form. If you want to get involved we’d love to have you – let me know what you’re interested in and I’ll find a way for you to get involved! You can volunteer daily, weekly, month, or once a year – it doesn’t matter – all volunteers count!! If you don’t have time to volunteer that’s okay too – by simply writing your membership check you are supporting the students and staff at LBES!

- International Night – a fun night for all families!

I hope you can see the value of your $15 membership dues. All of our children and teachers will appreciate your support throughout the year.
I hope to see many of you at our PTA meetings this year. More voices, more ideas, more success for our school and children! Meetings begin at 6:45 with a meet and greet with staff members and other parents. At 7PM we will have a short and sweet business meeting. Following that we may have a special presentation or speaker. Look for the PTA Meeting reminder that will be sent home each month. Oh – by the way – kids are welcome to attend with you! We will have some high school and middle school student to help keep them busy. Bring homework, a book, a quiet game. Some months we may have them working on a community service project together.
