Description: The Medical Careers Academy is an academic career development program that enables students to explore careers in the health care industry and to develop skills related to patient care practiced in hospitals and long term facilities. Successful students will receive cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training and certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the Maryland Board of Nursing.

Congratulations to the John F. Kennedy High School Biomedical Team 2012, who won 1st place in the Patriots Biomedical Medical Competition on Wednesday, April 18,2012 in Greenbelt, Maryland.
