It's
Dr. Seuss's Birthday!
It's here! It's finally arrived. It's Dr. Seuss's birthday! The reading committee prepared for weeks and the decision had been made. Highland View would need more than one day to celebrate this popular author's birthday! We began the festivities by wearing silly, mismatched socks, but please be patient because it may take several minutes to download all of our poses.
The next day we enjoyed listening to Ms. Dardarian's annual reading of Fox in Socks to the entire school. We were amazed that she didn't miss a syllable saying those very funny tongue twisters!
On Dr. Seuss's birthday, we had our main celebration! Important guest readers arrived to read a Dr. Seuss book to our students who wore silly and fanciful hats on this special occasion!
