School Events- Highland View Keeps Pace|History Alive!|Educators from Uruguay Visit Highland View |Read Across America Day! |April is Math Month|Walking the School Bus|International Night 2008|Fifth Grade Promotion     

Ms. Dardarian, faculty, and staff met eager students all set and ready to participate in National Walk Day.  The event was planned by Mr. Dalbey, Mr. Hoskinson, and Mr.White, parents at Highland View and coordinated with Ms. Quigley, the P.E. teacher.

Youngsters called upon their classmates to join them on the walk.  Students proudly held their banner as they advanced down the hill.

The enthusiasm in the crowd grew as families and students joined the walkers.

The police kept a watchful eye on the pedestrians and the traffic as the community lined up at Wire and Franklin Avenues.  After the walkers reached their destination, the crowd cheered.

A group of students proudly led the group back to school.  The PTA offered the participants refreshments and small tokens to remind them of the day's event.
