Highland View ES-Second Graders' Publishing Party
Celebrating our Writing
Second graders celebrated their writing projects for the second quarter.
They worked on two projects that involved writing to inform: The Places I Have Been and a research project on one of the following topics: careers, states or sports.
On the day of the publishing party, the second graders rotated to each second grade classroom where they read each other’s writing and then wrote comments about what they liked. This was fun for the students because when they returned to their classroom, they could read comments written about their writing projects from their friends and staff.
