6th Grade Summer Orientation in July

Sign up here for 6th Grade Orientation to be held July 11 and July 25.

Student Service Learning Opportunity

 The Montgomery County Board of Elections Future Vote Initiative needs school-age students, grades 6-12, to serve Montgomery County voters as Election Day aides. Other opportunities exist to assist the Board of Elections before Election Day. Learn more here.

Summer Math

 The Hallie Wells Math Department asks that students review math concepts over the summer. This helps students retain mathematics knowledge and prepares them for success upon their return to school in the fall.  It is recommended that your child spend some time over the summer break to maintain his/her math skills.

Mustang Athletics

Fall Sports Information Attention 7th and 8th grader’s interested in participating on a fall sports team this coming school year. Tryouts will being on Tuesday September 11th , for more information please click here.

Media Center

 The media center will be open for book check-out on the following dates: Wednesday, July 11 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Students can check-out up to five books if they have no overdue materials.  All materials are due on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. 

2017 MSDE School Progress Report Card

The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) has posted the results of the 2017 Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC), and the High Schol Assessments on the Maryland Report Card (www.mdreportcard.org) website.  Click here to view Hallie Wells Middle School's 2017 School Progress Report located under the "Reports" tab.

MCPS’s Digital Citizenship: Your Characters Count webpage has been linked to each school’s webpage. It has resources for parents, students, and staff all in one location. Look for the icon in the lower left side of the website.  This is a resouce for parents, students and staff.   

SSL Hours on MyMCPS Portal

The MCPS OCTO team was able to place the SSL hours earned, required, and remaining on student records through the myMCPS portals that both students and parents can access.
