Mrs. Furr
Mrs. Furr is the Staff Development Teacher. In this position she acts as a resource for teachers to expand their repertoire of skills, demonstrates lessons using new strategies, and supports new teachers. She also manages the comprehensive staff development plan within the school and custom designs training and job-embedded staff development for the staff. She supports teachers in gathering resources and analyzing data in planning their curriculum. She assists teachers in the use of new strategies and in implementing necessary system-wide changes in curriculum and grading and reporting. She also supports teachers in developing and achieving their professional development goals.
