Due to moving to the new building, the 6th grade orientation will take place on the same day as the 7th and 8th grade orientation. This orientation for all grades will take place on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 8:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Buses will be running and all students will be picked and dropped off at their regular bus stops. A snack will be provided.
6th Grade Summer Parent Meet and Greet - Session 1 Tuesday, July 12, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Session 2 Tuesday, August 2, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Parent meet and greet sessions are intended for incoming sixth grade parents only. Parents will have the opportunity to hear about team concepts, class schedules, organization issues, school supplies, and ask questions to counselors and other teacher leaders. The meeting will take place at the Toll Brothers model home located at Trotters Glen,15601 Batchellors Forest Road.

American University is
offering a math camp to rising seventh graders (students entering 7th grade
in Fall 2016). This math camp is sponsored by the Department of Mathematics and
Statistics. Students will be introduced to new mathematical concepts while
working on interesting problems with their teachers and peers. The camp

Montgomery County Police Department Body Cameras
The Montgomery County Police Department has begun a pilot program in which some of its officers are wearing body cameras. These cameras are turned on when officers are responding to an incident. Beginning October 12, these body cameras will be used by police when they are responding to incidents in our schools.
