Good evening Drew Dolphins!Thank you to all who came out to support the PTA and the SCB Meetings this week. We do have the most supportive community!
I have a few updates for this week. The 5th Grade Author’s Tea will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday before all classes celebrate with a Valentine’s Day party at 3:00 p.m. We do ask that you please move your cars by 3:40 so that we can get busses in the lot for dismissal. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Please note that Session #3 Club registrations are due this Thursday and Friday we will have guest readers in celebration of African American Heritage month. All classes will have a special guest reader.
We will be saying goodbye to Mrs. Glawe at the end of this week, as she will return to her own school. We would like to thank her for all that she has done to support our students and community over the past seven weeks. Mrs. Means- Harris is anxiously awaiting her return the following week. She and I will begin to transition back to our offices and positional roles. Please do let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We appreciate the community’s flexibility through this process.
A couple of final reminders from the PTA- the clothing drive has been extended until March 15th so please continue to send in those donations! Also, 5th Grade yearbook are on sale now for $10 each. You may purchase a dedication page for $25. Please see the flyer that went home in your child’s backpack last Thursday for more information. Orders are due by March 1st.
