Welcome to the ELD and World Languages at DHS!

At DHS, language learning opens doors — to better communication, exciting travel, rewarding careers, and even an edge in college admissions. Many universities now look for three or more years of language study in high school, and we’re here to help you reach that goal!

We’re also proud of our strong AP Spanish program and success in the Seal of Biliteracy, which recognizes advanced skills in two or more languages.

New this year: the DHS World Language Scholars Program — an exceptional opportunity to celebrate dedication and excellence in language learning.

Let’s make this a year of discovery, culture, and achievement — ¡Vamos! Allons-y! Let’s go!
