Welcome to World Languages at DHS! Our Resource Teacher for World Language is Melanie Rangel.
We have a variety of programs that run within the World Language Department. Those include:
- Seal of Biliteracy
- World Language Honor Society
- ASL Honor Society
- World Language Scholars Program
We also have clubs with World Language department sponsors to promote diversity and inclusion:
- Sol Club
- Adelante Club
Our mission is that all students will feel safe, heard, and represented in an educational community that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our vision is that all students will have equitable access to a high-level education in an educational community that values diversity and inclusion to prepare them to thrive and be agents of change as global citizens.
