Our Vision
The Media Center is a friendly, open place that provides an atmosphere that promotes the joy of reading to help students to become lifelong learners.
Our Mission
Burnt Mills Elementary School Library Media Program provides instruction, resources and services to staff and students. Our goal is to ensure that our students become effective and independent users of ideas, information, resources and technology.
Schedule and Circulation
Students check out books on a weekly basis. We encourage our students to return books each week so that they can enjoy reading and make new selections. The primary grades may check out one book each week and the intermediate grades may check out two books weekly. Students may return books early to exchange for other books to read.
