10 Reasons You Belong in PTA  (10 Motivos por los que Pertenece A PTA)

We look forward to seeing you on Back to School Night: Thursday, September 2nd from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.

We will host our first PTSA meeting next month: Tuesday, October 12th at 6:00PM. More information to follow...

We would like you to invite you to join the PTSA.  You ask why? Here is why?

It's a Fact: Kids Do Better When Parents are Engaged in Their Learning!

Hear from parents just like you who have gotten involved with their child's school, their child's education and the education of everyone in their community by joining a local PTA in the video at https://www.pta.org/home/About-National-Parent-Teacher-Association/why-join-pta or via YouTube at https://youtu.be/xzGtGcYdEFs. In Espanol: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TCIZVt2gp4&feature=youtu.be

With schools facing challenges like shrinking budgets and lack of educational equity, PTA is more important than ever. The PTSA provides programs on strengthening family-school partnerships, and free resources for members on issues and areas such as STEM and health & safety.

Be a part of a powerful association that can advocate on behalf of children and educators at the local, state and national levels.

If you wish to join the PTSA please fill out the attached PTSA Membership PDF or online here: https://forms.gle/Ajy2grtLgcH1Fkv29.

Membership is $20 for families or $10 for BCMS Faculty and Staff You can also pay your membership or make donation online at https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=AZ9339858Y3DW&source=url

Meeting Schedule:

Our PTSA business meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Media Center beginning October 12th. All are welcome, and you don’t have to be a member to attend. You will discover that the PTSA continually strives to improve the education, health, safety, and general well-being of all our students. BONUS: If your student attends, he or she will receive SSL hours!
