End of School Year

As a result of this winter's inclement weather, MCPS has announced that the school year will be extended to Monday, June 20. This will be an early release day. Our students will be dismissed at 12:55 p.m. Friday, June 17 will now be a full day of school. End-of-year classroom parties will be held on Friday, June 17 as originally planned. They will be begin at 2:00 p.m. The clap out for the fifth grade students will remain on Friday, June 17 as previously scheduled. This will begin at 3:00 p.m. 

PARCC Testing Schedule

PARCC testing will begin on Monday, May 9th for students in grades three through five. Please click here to see the full schedule.

Kindergarten Orientation

Registration has begun for Kindergarten Orientation, to be held on Thursday and Friday, May 5th and 6th. Parents of incoming kindergarten students should come to the main office to pick up a packet and sign up for an orientation timeslot. If you know of other community members who have a student who will begin kindergarten at Bradley Hills in the fall, please encourage them to come register as well. 

Choice Study Community Dialogue

MCPS has released a study of the district's school choice and other special academic programs. See the attached flyer for information about upcoming  Choice Study Community Dialogues  to discuss the study's recommendations and the vision for choice in MCPS.

Spring Break Programs at Montgomery College

This one week technology program is offered for students aged 8–14, from Tuesday–Friday, March 29–April 1, on the Germantown campus of Montgomery College. Click here for additional details.

Radon Testing Results

The follow-up testing for radon has been completed at Bradley Hills. The most recent test results from the Montgomery County Public Schools Indoor Air Quality unit indicate all of our rooms and offices tested had radon levels below the United States Environmental Protection Agency recommended action limit of 4.0 picocuries per liter of air. Please see the attachment for additional information and the full Radon Testing Results. 

Free Public Forum for Students on the Autism Spectrum

Attached is an announcement for the 8th annual forum on educational services for students on the autism spectrum (both diploma and nondiploma). This FREE event will be held on Wednesday, April 13th from 6:30–9:00 p.m. at Julius West Middle School (651 Great Falls Road, Rockville, Maryland, 20850).
