Parking
The Security Office office handles parking permits. B-CC has a limited number of spaces available to students. There are specific guidelines as to who can obtain a parking permit on the application. Announcements are made to students at sign up times through out the school year. Students may bring the application form and $25.00 fee/sport season or $37.50/semester (check made out to B–CC High School) to school during the registration time. Security will be in the security office before school, after school, and during lunch.
The following rules must be observed. No parking permits will be issued to students with financial obligations.
Students who plan to park on school grounds must have either a Parking Permit or a One–Day Temporary Parking Permit.
Students are expected to drive in a safe manner.
Students must park only in the designated Student Parking Lot(s).
Students are not to loiter around their cars and may not return to their cars during the school day unless they have a school- approved early dismissal.
All parking permits must be prominently displayed for all to see.
Parking permits cost $25.00 per sports season or $37.50 per semester.
If a student does not purchase a parking permit and finds that he/she must drive to school one day for an excused early dismissal, i.e., medical appointment, he/she can pick up a one-day parking permit with his/her early dismissal note. (The note the student brings in, explaining the reason for the early dismissal, must also state that the student needs to drive that day.) The One–Day Parking Permit must be displayed prominently and the student must park in the designated student parking lot.
If a student allows his/her permit to be used in an automobile not registered on the application, that student and his/her parents/guardians are responsible for any violations made by the driver of the unregistered automobile.
Failure to comply with the above expectations will result in revocation of the parking permit.
