  • 2017 Individual School Progress Report

    The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) has posted the results of the 2017 Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC), and the High School Assessments on the Maryland Report Card (www.mdreportcard.org) website.  Click here to view (Argyle) 2017 School Progress Report located under the “Reports” tab. The report provides state, county, and individual school performance data, as well as information on student attendance, high school graduation rates, and the professional qualifications of teachers at the state, district, and school levels for the 2016‒2017 school year.  If you would like to receive the report in Chinese, French, Korean, Spanish, or Vietnamese, please contact the Main Office at 301-460-2400.

  • Math Summer Packet

    Check out the summer packet site. It is designed to help middle grades students in mathematics. What a better way to practice math than by playing games, watching videos and completing lots of other challenging tasks!  This website will help you choose resources that focus on future mathematical concepts and keep your math skills sharp.

  • Rising 6th Grader? Need to sign up for 6th Grade Orientation

    Is your child a rising 6th grader at Argyle Middle School?  Argyle is offering five summer orientations which will allow your child to get to know their new school before the year starts.  All sessions are run by Argyle teachers with 7th and 8th grade student volunteers.  Your child will spend two hours touring the school, learning to open lockers, meeting staff, and having their questions answered. Sign up for one of the dates listed.  Availability will be on a first come first serve basis! Don't miss out on this great opportunity!  Look for volunteers and signs to direct you where to go when you arrive.

  • 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony Information

    Attention 8th-grade parents, the 8th-grade promotion ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 14th at Kennedy HS. Please bring your student to Kennedy HS by 8:30 am that morning. Each student will receive two family tickets. Tickets will be given to students on Friday, June 8th.

  • Congratulations to the team winners of the Invent the Future Challenge

    Students from Argyle visited the Kids Museum 6 field trips and learned the engineering process while thinking of a creative solution to an environmental problem.  They then designed and prototyped an invention.We had three teams and the overall school were given awards at the Invent the Future Challenge on May 20 against other Middle Schools in MCPS and DC Metro area.
