This year's Michael J. Doran Writing Contest has opened for submission!
The 1st place winner will receive $150, the 2nd place $100, and the 3rd place $50. Honorable Mention awards may also be given out. The winners will be recognized and the winning stories will be published in the school newspaper.

Graduation will be held at DAR Constitution Hall. MCPS Central Office will release the date and time this fall. We will post this information on the Wootton website when it is made available to us, likely sometime in late fall. On November 2nd at 7pm we held our 9th grade parent information session in the auditorium. Information was given on a variety of topics including graduation requirements, grading and reporting, student supports and planning ahead. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend! For those of you who were unable to attend the presentation from the evening it is attached here.
