Social Studies
We are studying the Wampanoag Native Americans who were present for the first Thanksgiving. We learned a lot about the ways of the Wampanoag on our fieldtrip to Woodlawn Manor from Grandmother Willow. We will also compare a variety of Native American tribes. We are building our knowledge of geography and continuing to create and examine maps in studying where the Wampanoag lived.
We will continue to study the Wampanoag Native Americans who were present for the first Thanksgiving. We will also compare a variety of Native American tribes. We are building our knowledge of geography and continuing to create and examine maps in studying where the Wampanoag lived. We learn about the daily life of the Wampanoag villagers more than 400 years ago. We will identify the men's and women's jobs in the Wampanoag tribe. In addition, we will learn about their traditionally clothing. We will create a class mural that shows the Wampanoags' winter homes.
