Grade 3 Folders and Assignment Book

• • The Take Home Folder allows you to receive notes, homework papers, and more. Please go through the folder every evening. If there is unfinished work in the folder please make sure your child completes the work and returns it to school. The Take Home Folder must go home and come back to school on a daily basis.

   

  • Your child will use the Assignment Book to keep track of important dates, events, and short and long term homework assignments. The weekly homework assignments are also posted on each homeroom classroom page on myMCPS classroom and is on the Stone Mill Website. Your child will have math homework throughout the week. The homework will be stapled together as a packet and sent home on the first day of the week. Packets are due on Fridays and will be checked for completion. It is also the expectation that your child is reading for at least 15 minutes each night. We work together to do this in order to build strong work study habits!
