Sherwood Elementary

Online registration for kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year is open. Children who will be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2025 are eligible to register. Registration will be online through the ParentVUE portal. If your family is new to MCPS, you will need to create a ParentVue account here. For more information about eligibility and the registration process, visit the MCPS Kindergarten Enrollment webpage or contact your local elementary school.

 

Kindergarten Orientation will take place at Sherwood on the morning of June 5. Incoming families will have the opportunity to meet administration, teachers, and see the kindergarten classrooms. There are two sessions, families should pick one session to attend. Please complete this google form to let us know which of the two sessions you are attending.

 

Session 1: 9:30am-10:15am

Session 2: 10:30am-11:15am

 

There will be an additional opportunity to meet teachers and visit the school on Thursday, August 21st in the evening for Kindergarten Back to School Night. August 25th is a transition day for all incoming Kindergarten students. More details will be shared in the future.
