Meet the 2nd Grade Teachers

Mrs. Dodge-  I grew up in Montgomery County and graduated from Walter Johnson High School. After high school I attended Hood College where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education. Before coming to Sequoyah in 2013, I taught first grade at Ashburton Elementary School for 7 years.  My husband and I have daughter and a son who are in elementary school!  I spend most of my "free" time taking them to various activities, but I also love to read and watch movies with my family!

Mrs. Hildenbrand-I am the Special Education teacher for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade at Sequoyah Elementary and will be co-teaching with Mrs. Dodge in 2nd grade. I am new to MCPS this year! Previously, I taught Special Ed for a few years in Hawaii. I am excited to be a part of the Sequoyah family!

I was born and raised in Massachusetts and then went to college in New York, where I met my husband, Eric, of 3 years. Some of my favorite things to do are travel, hike, cook, read, and spend time with my family.

Michele Ibrahimi- My name is Michele Ibrahimi.  I was born and raised in Montgomery County. I have worked at Farmland ES teaching second grade and Ashburton ES for six years teaching third grade. I have 2 amazing boys!  Jordan is 15 and entering high school this year!  Dylan is 12 and entering 8th grade this year! They both play lacrosse, so I am a lacrosse mom! I love yoga, spending time at the beach, reading in my spare time, listening to live music, and spending time with my boys!

Ms. St. Bernard: I am a 2nd grade teacher but have also taught kindergarten and first grade.  I'm a graduate of Washington Adventist University with a degree in Elementary Education.  In 1996 I earned a Masters' degree in Reading from Hood College.  My hobbies include reading, cooking, and traveling.
