8th Grade Trip Information
Dear Parents/Guardians,
On Monday, June 10, 2024, your child will have the opportunity to celebrate the end of their middle school journey by attending a catered cruise on the Spirit of Baltimore around the Inner Harbor.
Date: Monday, June 10, 2024
Time: Depart HWMS 9:30 a.m., Return to HWMS 2:45 p.m.
Transportation: Adventure Tours Bus Company
Cost: $110.00 per student DUE: Friday, May 3, 2024
We need to turn in a headcount and purchase tickets, therefore it is very important that all students return permission slips by the due date.
Cost Includes: Bus Transportation, Cruise Ticket, and Buffet LunchComplete attached MCPS Form 560-31 and return with payment to Mrs Ivory. Students can find Mrs. Ivory in the 8th grade team room before school, during lunch and after school. Payment may be made with cash, check made out to “Hallie Wells Middle School”, or credit card through the online school payment system accessed through the Hallie Wells website “Quick Links”. If financial assistance is needed, a written request must be made to Ms. Tara Kelly, 8th grade administrator as soon as possible. Requests will be kept confidential.
What to Bring: Students should dress appropriately for the weather. Spending money is not necessary.
Chaperones: Parent chaperones are not needed
Donations: Donations to cover students requiring financial assistance are appreciated. Donations can be added to your payment or made online.
