Forest Knolls Elementary School

We are excited to share that our students will soon participate in a special lesson to
celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States.

This milestone is often called the "Semiquincentennial". Since the actual anniversary is on July 4th during summer break, the lesson will be taught in June so that all students can celebrate together before the school year ends. The lessons will be available on the MCPS Social Studies webpage.
