MCPS 250th Anniversary of the United States of America Commemorative eBook
The United States is celebrating its 250th anniversary this year. To commemorate the milestone, MCPS will create a districtwide eBook titled “Many Voices, One Nation,” featuring one selected student submission from each school. Students may submit a poem, essay, music, performance, literary piece, or artwork. The completed eBook will be shared with schools and the community in June 2026 before the end of the school year.
Forest Knolls students should submit their entries via email to Rachel Burroughs (Rachel_burroughs@mcpsmd.org) by May 14, 2026. Please note that performance and musical video submissions should be no more than 2 minutes in length. Check here for full entry guidelines.
