Kindergarten Registration
We are excited that your child will be entering kindergarten in the fall of 2025.
Kindergarten registration is now open for the 2026-2027 school year, and being held online through the ParentVUE portal. Click here to get started.
Children who will be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2026 are eligible. If your family is new to MCPS, you will need to create a ParentVue account here. After creating an account, you will be prompted to register when you first log in.
Early entrance to kindergarten and first grade opens on Monday, March 9.
BFES will share further information with families about Kindergarten Registration events in April.
