Mrs. Jackie Lightsey - Admin for Class of 2019
I am proud to be the administrator for the Class of 2019! Junior year is a very important time in a student’s life—it is the time when students start to think seriously about the future and what they want to do with their lives. I am thrilled to be able to support all of our 11th grade students in their academics, in their extracurricular activities, and in their efforts to make smart choices that will set them up for success in the future.
Colleges pay the most attention to 11th grade when looking at applications, so it is important for students to focus on being on top of their game this year! Partly because of this pressure, junior year is notorious for being the most stressful and difficult, so I encourage students to find a healthy balance between their academics, their extracurriculars, and their time with family and friends. Nothing is more important than our students’ well-being, and I’m committed to supporting students as they manage all of the responsibilities they take on this year. Please feel free to come see me in the lower administrative office with any questions or concerns, or just to say hello. Let’s go, Class of 2019! We are #woottonstrong!
