ONLY IN 2ND GRADE...
Check out Ms. Friedman's 2nd graders' e-book of text features examples (be sure to turn up your volume).
After learning all about text features, all 2nd graders worked with a partner and:
- ued a digital camera to take their own photographs of examples around the school that showed text features being used
- used Pixie (multimedia application) to label their photographs, add text to explain the text feature being shown, and Pixie's recording tool to add their voices as they read the text
