    The Media Center is a warm and friendly place for the Twinbrook community that provides a great atmosphere for lifelong learning and promotes a joy of reading.

    Our Mission

    Twinbrook Elementary School Library Media Program provides instruction, resources, and services to ensure that all students become effective and independent users of ideas, information, and technology.

    Media Center Hours (Monday - Friday)

    Students: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
    (Students may exchange books during the day with a pass from their teacher.)

    Staff: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

    Circulation Policy

    K-2 - One Book Every Week

    3-5 - Two Books/One Magazine Every 2 Weeks

    Black Eyed Susan

    The Black Eyed Susan Award is a children's choice award for the state of Maryland. Each year students vote for books from a selected list to choose one that is worthy of the award. Participation in this event also seeks to promote life long reading.
