This is my 17th year teaching in Montgomery County and my 14th year teaching at Stonegate Elementary School. I have taught both 5th and 4th grade. Currently, I teach 4th grade and love it!
I attended Springbrook HS, University of Maryland, College Park for my undergraduate degree, and Johns Hopkins for my Master’s degree. One of my favorite hobbies is traveling and I have traveled to many cities throughout the US. I also received the Fulbright-Hays Award which allowed me to travel abroad to Thailand and Vietnam during the summer of 2007. It was an amazing cultural and learning experience! In addition, I have traveled abroad to Europe and the Middle East. I especially enjoyed my travels to the Middle East where I had the opportunity to explore my cultural heritage in Ramallah, Palestine. My ultimate favorite pastime is spending time with family and friends, especially my daughters Gianna-Marie and Mary-Grace. They are true blessings to both me and my husband. I treasure my time with my family.
