The TranZed Academy for Working Students (TAWS) serves working students, allowing them to set their work schedule first and then build their graduation required courses around their work schedule.  This is a perfect program for students who want to maximize their work experience.  TAWS features:

  • Flexible course schedule to accommodate working hours
  • Tutoring and academic support
  • Career coaching and networking
  • College credit
  • Assistance to employers to design apprenticeships

TAWS is a great way to accelerate your pathway to a higher wage.  Through a personalized career plan including college and skills training, career coaching by an experienced mentor, the opportunity for college credit and the potential for an apprenticeship upon graduation, TAWS might be the perfect fit for you.

TAWS is open to rising seniors who are on track to graduate and are currently employed.  For more information, visit http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/career-readiness/taws/index.aspx or contact info@tranzedacademy.org.
