I am the IDA (Instructional Data Assistant) at Sequoyah. This is my third year entering and analyzing data here at Sequoyah and my fifth year with MCPS. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have a wonderful husband, three children and five grandchildren. My favorite things are playing with my grandchildren, traveling, working in my garden, riding my bike and cooking healthy meals.
I am a proud product of MCPS having gone to Jackson Road ES, White Oak, and graduating from Springbrook High School. This is my 3rd year at Sequoyah as a Paraeducator after volunteering for several years. I live in Derwood with my husband and our son who just started 6th grade at Redland Middle School. I have a BA in Theatre from UMBC and when I am not driving my son around to all of his activities I am very active in community theatre - on the board of The Montgomery Playhouse, singing in a choir and involved with the PTA, among other interests.
This is my sixteenth year as a paraeducator at Sequoyah. I am a product of Montgomery County Public Schools. I have four wonderful sons (who ALL attended Sequoyah!!) and my husband, Tom and I, live in Rockville. I am a runner and enjoy competing in races around the metro area. My husband and I love spending time at the beach.
I have been working for MCPS for 11 years. I have been at Sequoyah for 9 of those years. I live in the Olney area with my husband and two children and our dog, Coco. I have a son attending his first year at Montgomery College and a daughter who is a cheerleader at Sherwood High School. I love to travel to our home in Italy, the beaches in Florida and Ocean City. I enjoy gardening, walking, and reading mysteries.
