Music
Ms. Cameron - I have been teaching in MCPS since 1989. I graduated from Towson University with a degree in Music Education. I began by teaching elementary school, then moved to middle school for eight years and now am very happy back at the elementary level. This is my sixth year teaching at Sequoyah and I am currently also teaching instrumental and general music at Summit Hall Elementary in Gaithersburg. Last year I was lucky to have all three of my own children attending Sequoyah at once!
Ms. Wardell -This is my 2nd year teaching at Sequoyah and my 6th year teaching in Montgomery County. Before coming to Sequoyah I taught middle school and high school chorus and general music. I grew up in New Jersey and graduated from the University of Maryland in 2005 with a degree in music education. I am currently working on my Master’s degree in Kodaly Music Education at Loyola University in Baltimore. My husband Doug and I have been married for 2 years. He is an aerospace engineer. In my spare time I serve as the manager for the Montgomery County Youth Chorus and direct Sequoyah’s spring musical. I love Snoopy, post it notes, turtles, and anything purple.
