Incoming 6th grade Parent Tea

Reminder- All 2018-19 incoming 6th grade parents:   There will be a parent tea tomorrow morning from 8:30-9:30 AM in the cafeteria at Hoover.

Yearbook Distribution

Yearbooks will be distributed at the beginning of 1st period over 3 days as follows:8th grade, Monday, June 47th grade, Tuesday, June 56th grade, Wednesday, June 6 Did you forget to pre-order your yearbook?Don’t worry, there are still some available for purchase at school.At school price is $50 cash or check made out to “Hoover MS”. This include all applicable taxes.Please have your student bring payment to Mr. Baker’s room, 183 BEFORE SCHOOL.

On May 31, 2018, Hoover Middle School will be having its annual Career Day. We are looking to have representation from a variety of careers and career fields. Black Rocket April 21, 2018

Black Rocket programs offered through Montgomery College provide unique enrichment and educational offerings to children and young adults in Creative Sciences, Digital Arts, and Leadership. Each course emphasizes self-empowerment, cognitive reasoning, and divergent thinking through hands-on learning. The program on April 21st is designed for students in grades 3 – 6 and costs $95 per student. The day’s courses include Robotics 101, New! Advanced Robotics, Code Breaking, Digital Animation, Minecraft Engineering, Minecraft World Builder, and Video Game design.  A limited number of scholarships are available.
