•   Booktalk website - A link to the BCPS site that shows how to do a booktalk.
• Book Adventure Book Find - Search for books on your level.
• RIF Reading Planet - Search for books by author and category.
• E-Books - MCPS list of electronic books to listen to and watch on the computer.
• Educational Websites - A outstanding collection of educational sites for all learners.
• Montgomery County Public Libraries- Check out the books from Montgomery County Public Libraries!  This is great place to find books, videos, and to special programs for kids.
•  Toon Book Reader- An online website that reads comic books out loud.
• We Give Books-  Here’s a great website that provides books online for children.  
 

For Staff

            Accessible Book Collection is an archive of digital books that can be used with a text reader like

            Kurzweil or Natural Reader.  Books can be sorted by interest or reading level, by author or

            alphabetically.

             Atomic Learning is a web archive that contains hundreds of video tutorials on computer  

           applications including Clicker 5, ActivInspire, Word, Inspiration, and much, much, more. 

• 4Teachers.org works to help you integrate technology into your classroom by offering FREE online tools and resources. This site helps teachers locate and create ready-to-use Web lessons, quizzes, rubrics and classroom calendars. There are also tools for student use. Discover valuable professional development resources addressing issues such as equity, ELL, technology planning, and at-risk or special-needs students.
• BrainPOP is a website of animated educational videos in all content areas. This site includes BrainPOP Jr. which has videos for PreK-3 and BrainPOP en Espagnol with videos in spanish. Teacher passwords can be found in the media center.
• Proquest Professional Education Journal allows educators to access the latest in educational journal articles.
• TeachingBooks.net has resources for author studies including lesson plans and video clips.

For Parents

•   Math Websites from HIAT has resources for supporting your child's math education. 
•   Helping Your Child Learn Mathematics are activities from the U.S. Department of Education for preschool through  grade 5.
