Why use unitedstreaming videos?

unitedstreaming provides educational videos for downloading and viewing in classrooms. You may use a searchable database to find videos related to topics of your choice. There are many reasons to use unitedstreaming videos:

  • retain students interest
  • can be downloaded to hard drives so they are available when you need them
  • easy to share with colleagues
  • address different learning styles
  • brings lessons to life

You may view entire videos. Even better, unitedstreaming breaks videos into shorter clips. There are many reasons to use short clips:

  • targets specific areas of learning
  • holds students' attention
  • faster for teachers to download

But most importantly, short clips support constructivist learning because they can generate discussion questions which can lead to activities which lead to other clips.
