Optional Summer Reading and Math Calendars

While we hope that your child will spend the majority of the summer out in nature or participating in energetic social activities, a little exercise for the mind is welcome. You may want your child to spend some time practicing their reading and math skills to avoid the summer slide. To that end, we offer these optional reading and math summer calendars.

Enter our Cloverly Haiku Contest!

Do you Haiku?  Celebrate National Poetry Month and give it a try!  The contest is open to students in grades PreK through fifth grade.  Entries are due, Friday, May 4th.   

Deadline is approaching for the United We Learn Contest!

All students are invited to participate in the United We Learn MCPS contest.  This year's theme is All Means All.  In a group of 2 to 8, students work together to show what "All Means All" looks like through visual arts or the written word.

What happens when the kindness rock movement mixes with Family Reading Night?

Reading Rocks!  We hope everyone will find and paint a rock for our Reading Rocks! kindness contest.  All rocks will lead to the Cloverly media center, of course!
