On December 16, 2016 our 7th graders will experience an in-house field trip with the theme Journey Through Africa – Exploring Cultures.
In order to bolster student success, Roberto Clemente Middle School is offering the Extended Day Program (EDP). Classes will be held Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons starting the week of November 15, 2016 and will run for no more than 25 sessions ending the week of March 29, 2017.
Parent conferences are scheduled for November 10th from 12:50 – 4:30pm.
All Clemente family and students from all grades are able to purchase cheesecakes from Sweetz Cheesecake to help support our 7th grade.

This Saturday, April 25, 2016, Clemente Middle Science Team won 1st place at the Maryland Engineering Challenge Competition: 2016 Straw Bridge Challenge
Congratulations go out the RCMS Science Team’s final competition at Johns Hopkins University this weekend. The State Finals for the Maryland Science Olympiad was held all day Saturday, April 23rd and RCMS won awards in 9 different science competition events!
Two Roberto Clemente students will receive their awards on May 25 at the Johns Hopkins University Montgomery Campus

Friday, March 11 the Rock Band Program will host the second annual Battle For The Bands after school until 4:45 PM. Tickets are $3 and students must have a ride.
On Saturday, Feb. 27th, three teams with members from Clemente competed at Destination Imagination’s West Central Regional Tournament.
One of our students has been notified by the National Geographic Society that he is one of the semifinalists eligible to compete in the 2016 Maryland National Geographic State Bee. The contest will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016!
