Drawing Portfolio | 2-D Portfolio | 3-D Portfolio | Examples |
|
There are three portfolios you can choose for the AP Studio Class. The Drawing Portfolio is for those interested in traditional art such as drawing and painting. The 2-D Portfolio is for everything else like photography and digital arts. The 3-D Portfolio is for sculpture and pottery. You can only choose one and you have to stay within the confines of that portfolio, however, you can have one or two final pieces that fall within the boundaries of the other portfolios. For example if you are taking Drawing you can have a photo you really like in your final portfolio. There are three sections: Your concentration section should have a theme amongst all of the works included and should be identified very early on. Your breadth section should represent your ability to master a range of different ideas and works. There is a third section called quality, which has your best works and can crossover with works from your breadth and concentration sections. |
