MCPS hosted their annual Summer RISE closing ceremony on July 25, 2024. Over 900 students participated in a 5 week program where they participated in career-based learning with businesses, government agencies, higher education institutions, and nonprofit organizations. All MCPS students must earn 75 SSL hours to graduate from high school. Middle school and high school students should continue earning SSL hours towards their SSL graduation requirement by engaging in SSL opportunities during the summer and the 2024-2025 school year.
