GSCES PTA partners with Seasonal Roots
Seasonal Roots is an online farmers market that delivers “dirt to doorstep” to families in Maryland and Virginia. Each week the market offers more than 200 items that are all grown and produced locally, sustainably, and ethically. Market items include fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, baked goods, prepared foods, vegan specialties and more. Staff Appreciation Week - May 6-10
The PTA is asking for students to create superhero-themed items - artwork, posters, poems, thank you notes, etc - to show the staff how awesome they are! Entries will be displayed in the staff lounge during appreciation week. Students can drop off their creations outside the main office anytime between now and Monday, May 6th. Monday May 6th will be Dress Like a Superhero Day!
Students and staff are invited to dress as their favorite superhero or wear superhero-themed clothing.
PTA elections - Tuesday, May 7
Elections for the 2023-2024 board will be held at our next PTA meeting on Tuesday, May 7. If you would like to be considered for a board position, please submit your name via email to pta.greatsenecacreek@gmIl.com.
5th Grade Career Fair - May 15
All trades or professions, full or part-time welcome. The 5th Grade Career Fair will take place on Wednesday, May 15 from 2:00-3:15. If you would like to sign up, please complete this Google form.
