MCPS School Counseling Services shared this message with the senior class on Tuesday, May 7. Please read the full message below.

Dear Seniors and Parents,

We hope this email finds you well. As we approach the crucial stage of financial aid applications, we would like to remind all graduating high school seniors and their parents/caregivers who have not yet completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) that assistance is readily available.

Our College and Career Information Coordinators (CCICs) and school counselors are here to provide guidance and support throughout the FAFSA completion process. If you haven't already done so, please schedule a meeting with them at your earliest convenience. Here are some additional resources for you to review.

Additionally, I'm pleased to inform you that several workshops have been organized this month to further aid you in navigating the financial aid process. These workshops are designed to provide comprehensive information and assistance to ensure that you make informed decisions about your future educational endeavors. Our next workshop will be held on May 13th. Please click the link below to see the flyer.

Your financial aid application is a critical step in securing the resources necessary to pursue your educational aspirations. We encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities for guidance and support.

Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to your school counselor or CCIC. We are here to help you every step of the way.

Thank you,
