My classes at Blake

AP Studio Art - 3D Portfolio

This is my biggest priority. In this class I need 28 different 3D peices by the end of the year. Ten of these have to be in my Focus section, in which I follow a pattern of sculptures. The rest have to be in my Bret section, which can be anything I want. I can incorporate maybe one or two paintings through the bret section. I can work with clay, parascraft, wood, metal, rubber, any material as long as it's 3D, but I choose to work with mostly clay. I'm horribly behind in this class, I have alot of sculptures that are at least half-way done but I need to complete at least 7 this semester otherwise I'll be behind the whole year. So far I have zero.

I made this last year but I'm still making the same kind of things.

Digital Arts - Independent Study

This is my second biggest priority. It is the reason my last class is going nowhere, because it takes alot of my afterschool hours which I'd like to use for sculpting. Mr Overman wants me to sketch everything, take screenshots, and put everything into my portfolio as I work on each project. In total I'm supposed to have 28 peices for him, 7 for each semester. I can do that or I can do one film each quarter, which I think I'll do. But even then he wants me to have something for my portfolio once every three weeks, so I can't just "wing" the projects. The last project I've been working hand-in-hand with the TV Production team, but I'm probably going to go solo for my next project as dealing with their regulations and deadlines AND with Mr Overman's deadlines was to much of a strain.

This isn't my project but it's a nice shot of 3D Studio Max.

Photography 1

I am so remarkably behind in this. I know how to use the camera and how to take a picture but I don't have much time (other than the weekend) to go out and shoot. Due to this inability I've fallen behind in figuring out how to develop, so tomorrow I'm going to finally go in afterschool and get some help with figuring it all out. Ms Hartenstein has been lenient on me though but I don't want to push it so I'm trying my best to go out and shoot.

This is a Pentax K1000, it's also my camera's model.
