Attention Seniors – the deadline for your SSL hours is this TOMORROW, April 5th. ALL seniors who are trying to earn the Certificate of Meritorious service (“the purple tassel”) must have their hours in before Friday April 5th. HOURS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DEADLINE – NO EXCEPTIONS! In addition, seniors who are still trying to meet the graduation requirement have to meet this deadline as well. If you have questions, see Mrs. Stroot in room 109.




Homework Club will meet in Room 182 from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons this week.  Students are welcome to come during these times to work on assignments, seek help or develop improved study habits.

The Wootton High School Activists will be hosting the very first Activism Night on TOMORROWApril 5th, from 5:30pm – 8pm in the commons.  Join them for activism activities, student speeches and performances, and opportunities to have conversations with your community and political representatives.

Bravo to the Spamalot cast, who are just really amazing.  Hurrah to the Spamalot Orchestra as they are doing an awesome job of supporting the cast.   This Friday and Saturday at 7 pm are the final presentations.




Attention all current 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students.  Enrollment for The 2019 WHS Summer Institute Program is now open.  Check out the classes we will offer over the summer by visiting the Wootton HS website, (under announcements) and return your completed registration form with payment to the main office. Parents are encouraged to give forms and payment to their student to deliver. Either bring completed forms with payment to the main office during normal school business hours or mail it to Wootton High School.  Registration deadline is

May 1st.




Seniors: Remind your parents about the second and only daytime mandatory Parent Graduation Meeting this Friday, April 5 at 8 a.m. Get information about graduation procedures and pick up graduation tickets. Registration is not required, parents must attend one of the three meetings.
